Ben Murray-Bruce, the Senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, has condemned the All Progressive Congress, APC, over its parallel congresses all over the country.
Bruce said the parallel congresses by the ruling party showed it cannot lead the country even at local government level.
The Bayelsa lawmaker made the remark in reference to the conduct of parallel congresses marred by irregularities and violence across the country.
Bruce on his Twitter page wrote: “How can a party that cannot govern itself internally govern Nigeria?
“The state congresses of the APC shows that the party itself needs to be colonized by a more civilized party.
“APC is not even mature enough to be a ruling party in a Local Govt, ‘talk less’ of the federal level.”
Meanwhile, the Senator representing Zamfara central, Kabir Marafa claimed that the irregularities at the All Progressives Congress (APC) congresses, were targeted at President Muhammadu Buhari.
