Senate, House of Reps in joint session over political tension

After over one hour session behind closed doors on Tuesday, the Senate has moved to the House of Representatives for a joint session.

Immediately, the joint session was convened in the chambers of the House, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara announced that both chambers were together to discuss political tension in the country.

DAILY POST could not confirm as at the time of filing this report, if the Senate President’s problems with the Police would form part of today’s joint session.
