Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi state has said that tomorrow’s Presidential visit of Muhammad Buhari indicates victory ahead of 2019 presidential election.
Abubakar made the statement in a broadcast to the people of the state ahead of President Buhari’s Thursday visit.
He said Bauchi state was a strong political hold of President Buhari considering previous elections in Nigeria.
The governor added that this had informed the president to appoint more Bauchi indegenes under the APC administration when compared to his Katsina state.
He cautioned politicians not to use the presidential visit as a yardstick for rivalry, but rather to attract development.
According to Abubakar, government is in partnership with all the security agencies to ensure law and order, saying trouble makers will not be spared.
He maintain that during the visit Buhari is expected to Commission roads projects, 500 units of tractors including Air Force Hospital
Abubakar, therefore, asked that all hands be put on deck with a view to accord the president the best reception.
